Gov.Lalong Approves 200 Million For The Construction Of Pankshin Lankan Road

Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has approved 200 Million naria for the construction of the abandon Pankshin Lankan Road that has been abandoned by previous administrations of the state.

The Pankshin Lankan road is said to have been abandoned by successive government of the state starting from 1999 ,the contact for the construction of the is said always reflect in every budget which no one can authoritatively say what went wrong in every points in time that the contract is abandoned.

Governor Lalong made the announcement for the mobilization of the contractor back to the site in his speech during the celebration of Vwang 2022 and fundraising held at Vwang Arena,in Pankshin LG,plateau State.

Gnews Blog reports that the Governor Lalong represented by his special adviser on media Honorable Diket plang said the Governor is deeply touched with the state of the road after over two decades by successive past government,and the community that has produce notable personalities both in the past and present administration.

The Governor further added that though the failed contracts was not awarded under the watch of this present administration,but as the motor of government implies “Rescue Administration “has promised that he will not leave any abandoned projects behind whether initiated by me or my predecessors as is for the development of plateau state.

According to Gnews Blog Governor Lalong further stressed that the state government has released the sum of 200 Million naira for the remobilization of the contractor back to site and said the project will be keenly supervise by the government to ensure it execution to the latter.

Governor lalong however said that considering the immediacy associated with the project ,he has given matching order for the release of fund and the commencement of work for the construction of the road.
