Photos: SAD as stray bullet kills man at Jos terminus market

A tragic situation has been reported in Jos Plateau as police stray bullet reportedly killed one man at Jos terminus market in Plateau State.

The incident was said to have happened after Police men alleged to be from ‘C’ devision Jos, stormed the area in their effort to curb illegal perking at terminus market.

The young man who was simply identified as an 18year old, with the name Ebuchin Ofieze, was said to have been hit by a stray bullet fired by a police who was trying to scare off some offenders.

According to an eye witness identified as Ikechuckwu said, “I was in my shop with my boy when a bullet hit him from behind through the window as a result of Police personnel trying to disperse the multitude of Napep driver trying to stop them from arresting the culprits.

As at the time of filling this report, the corpse of the victim has been deposited at the Jos University Teaching Hospital JUTH.
