PLASU Crisis: Mikang TIC chairman, Hon. Daniel Kungmi, evacuated students
Following the tragic and horrible incident that struck students of Plateau State University, Bokkos, and the suspension of the institution for 10 days, the TIC Chairman of Mikang LGA, Hon. Daniel Kungmi, has evacuated his students back home.
Hon. Kungmi, who swiftly took action immediately to save his students from the sad and traumatic experience, says student welfare remains one of his administration’s top priorities.
The TIC chairman sympathises and empathises with the entire group of students and residents of Bokkos an Mangu LGA. He also prays for quick recovery for the injured and rest for the departed souls.
Hon. Kungmi urges the evacuated students to judiciously use the few times they will be home while being law-abiding.
The president of the Mikang students PLASU chapter, Comr. Longshik Kenneth Paul, has also sent in his deepest appreciation to the council chairman for his quick intervention and confirmed they are back home safe.
