WOMEN OF EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2022: Call for nomination

The organizers of the Women of Excellence Awards is calling on the general public to send in their nominations for the 2022 Women of Excellence Awards.

Categories

(1) . Lifetime Achievement Award

This award category is for an extraordinary woman who has manifested a legacy that continues to inspire others. She has dedicated her life to the advancement of others and paved the way for the leaders of tomorrow. She is recognized as an ambassador for women through her extraordinary dedication, personal achievements, and service to others through mentorship, philanthropy, and business.

(2). EXCELLENCE Mentorship Award

The category of this award is an extraordinary woman who has manifested a legacy that continues to inspire others. She has dedicated her life to the advancement of others and paved the way for the leaders of tomorrow. her dedication and service to others through mentorship, philanthropy, and business.

(3) EXCELLENT VISION BUILDER AWARD
Vision shapes our future. Vision shows us the way. Vision needs vision builders. It’s the vision builders who see the possibilities that are supported by education. They see knowledge as the gateway to get us there. This woman is a vision builder who enables others to rev up their confidence to help make their dreams come true.

(4). YOUTH EXCELLENCE Award

This category is for a young role model who is making an impact in their community inspiring youth to think outside the box, follow their dreams and take action to put these dreams into motion.

(5). ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT AWARD

This award recognizes the achievements of a woman who has successfully challenged economic barriers to her success. Attracting a crew of volunteers in support of an enterprise, building a strong advisory board, successfully building a business with support from government grants are all part of strategic empowerment.

(6). ENTERPRENUR Of The YEAR AWARD

Women are critical to our economy. This award is given to a woman who stands out not only as a successful entrepreneur but as a leader with an entrepreneurial mindset. She has established a significant and positive reputation for her business.

(7). DEDICATED WOMEN ADVOCATE of the Year
A woman who uses her voice to Raise the Bar for black women to be seen heard and valued. The recipient of the Black Woman Leader Award is a role model and advocate for change. Her work is respected and recognized. She may be an entrepreneur, business owner, non-profit, professional.

(8). Excellent Woman in Media Award

This award recognizes the work of women who have advocated for women and supported the voice of women via public forums such as the Press, Broadcasting, PR and Media.

(9). Integrity Excellence Award

Belief is a powerful engine. This Woman of Inspiration believes so strongly in the outcomes she seeks that her beliefs mould the path she is taking to get there. Her integrity channels her actions and her voice as she strives for solutions in the service she delivers seeking justice for all.

(10). Health and Wellness Excellence Award

Being an influential leader and advocate for the bigger picture related to good health and wellness practices and solutions is a mammoth task. The recipient of this award champions for good health and wellness through personal endeavors, achievements, recognition and/or scientific acclaim. Her work in this field and her advocacy has significance.

(11) Diversity and Inclusiveness Advocate Award

The category recognizes that the strength to pursue personal goals is nnot limited to a single age group nor gender, skillset or world of work. The recipient of this award has met with challenges that may have discriminated against them because of their physical differences or any other human rights issues.

(12). Humanitarian Excellence Award

A Woman with commitment and passion for serving others while making an impact and leading with purpose. Through her work as a compassionate and caring humanitarian, she demonstrates the application of business development strategies to implement solutions for social, cultural or environmental issues.

(13). Make-Up Artiste of the Year.
The category is open to an individual who is a master of art in the business and also making great impacts in the sector in the year under review.

(14). Fashion House of the Year.

This recognition is open to organizations who are masters in fashion designing and is also making great impact in the sector in the year.

(15). Outstanding Photographer of the Year.

The recognition is open to woman who is a master of photography practice in broadcasting and has also become a name to reckon with in the society.

(16). Excellence Public Administrator of the Year.

This Awards recognizes a Woman who are Career Administrators. While growing in their career path have distinguished themselves amongst their equals and have invested their wealth of experience in adding value Civil Service work and the community.

(17). Best Supportive Organization Award

This award recognizes companies and Organizations whose profits have been effectively channeled to impacting their communities through their corporate social responsibility contributions to the arts, education, environment, and community development, making societal impact a corporate priority.

(18). Philanthropist of the Year.

This recognition is open to a Woman who has given generously to support a charitable course, justice and to promote social balance in the society.

(19). Excellence Film Maker of the Year.

This category is open to a Woman who is a master in Theatre arts or a thespian and has also made great impacts in the film sector in the year under review.

(20). Human Capital Development Award

This recognizes an exceptional Woman or corporate entity who has greatly supported positively the human capacity development in the business community in the year under review.

(21). Artiste of the Year.

This recognizes a woman who is a master in Theatre Arts and is making great societal impact through Music in that sector in the year under review.

(22).Journalist of the Year.

This recognizes a woman who is a master in journalism practices and is also making great impact and a Voice to the women in that sector in the year under review.

(23). ICON OF PEACE AND SECURITY AWARD.

This recognition is open to a vibrant Woman whose actions have greatly resulted to peaceful co-existence in the society, state and Nigeria at large.

(24). EXCELLENCE WOMAN in LEADERSHIP AWARD

This category recognizes a Woman who has defied the odds, risen above the patriarchal system in the nation and influences people to aspire for Excellence in various fields.

(25). PUBLIC SERVANT OF THE YEAR AWARD

This recognition is open to an exceptional Woman in the public sector with sterling records in the public service.

(26). BUSINESS LEADER AWARD.

This category recognizes a passionate business leader who best demonstrates courageous and kind leadership in their business.This woman has started or taken over a business with the goal of making a difference. Whether they are a leader of 1 or 100 they empower their team members to thrive and provide exemplary customer service.

(27). EXCELLENCE COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AWARD.

Awarded to an incredible community leader who can best demonstrate how her leadership and courage made a significant difference to organisational, community or team success. The winner of this award will be a leader who is able to demonstrate how their authenticity has had a positive impact on others and has encouraged others to believe in themselves and their ideas.

(28). CEO – PRIVATE SECTOR OF YEAR

This category is Awarded to the CEO who can best demonstrate personal and corporate growth, inclusivity and the encouragement of leadership and courage within their organisation. The winner of this award will have clearly established a reputation for integrity, innovation and being brave.
