Breaking: PICTDA opens Application For Code Plateau 4.0 Registration link (Here)
The Plateau state Information and Communication Development Agency (PICTDA) has again commenced the application process for the fourth batch of Code Plateau 4.0
The Director-General of PICTDA, David Daser disclose this via his varified Facebook handle today.
This will be the fourth batch of Code Plateau, Daser also revealed special course for Comrades in this years edition.
Brief overview of Code Plateau
The program is a Bootcamp; a three-month immersive boot camp designed for young people who want to start their career in IT and kick-start their portfolio of real-life projects that utilizes the modern technology stacks.
Code Plateau is designed by the Plateau State Information and Communication Technology Development Agency (PICTDA) to build a pool of highly skilled young people in digital or soft skills including Coding, Software Programming, UI/UX designs, IT basics, and Software Development among others.
Since 2019, the boot camp has invested in human capacity development to ensure the employability of young people across the various sectors of the economy and has also deepened the foundation of the Silicon Plateau. Recently, five of the Code Plateau 2.0 accessed a paid internship after the completion of their training.
The boot camp is made up of a mix of virtual and real-life training sessions targeting to skill up the fellows in the areas of coding, programming, UI/UX designs, IT basics, and software development among others.
Meanwhile, it may interest you to know that the scheme has continued to secure endorsements and partnership from private-sector technology companies following request for two developers from one Abuja based Barnksforte Global Ltd
The ultimate goal of the program is to train, nurture and position these fellows in job internship across the diverse technology companies in Nigeria,” David added in Jos.
According to the PICTDA’s boss, Code Plateau forms part of the framework for development of ICT as an industry which is vital to the economic growth of Plateau State in line with the mandate of PICTDA to drive a technology value in the state.
