A frontline gubernatorial candidate of APC in Plateau State – Sunday Biggs says the State can earn enough for itself from tourism if developed.
According to Biggs — a Permanent Secretary at the Plateau State Government, no administration can survive without tourism revenue, noting the state’s diverse cultures and spectacular festivals were exportable products.
He said ;
“There’s no leadership that can come to Plateau and not prioritize tourism,”
Biggs disclosed this to The Light Bearer Newspaper during the cultural festival of the Butura people in the State’s Bokkos Local Government Area on 12 March.
“It’s one of the things that we pride ourselves in as the home of peace abs tourism,” he added.
“Every Governor must have to find ways to improve on our tourism potentials – develop our tourism potentials and see how to engage the private sector to see what government is doing,” he noted.
