2023: Northern Women For Actionable Change (NWAC) calls on the Minister of Science and Technology Dr. OGBONNAYA ONU to contest for Presidency

The Northern women for actionable change (NWAC) in a press conference released by the group through its convener Hauwa Tukur in the Bauchi state capital on Friday 15th April 2022 insists that the present minister of Science and Technology should contest for the seat of the president in the forthcoming general elections, as he is the most credible candidate from the south to run for the office.

The convener of the Northern women for actionable change further said, ” our group is totally committed to this course if the honorable minister listen and agrees to run, we have made our assessments and he is undoubtedly the right choice,we are willing to pledge our unalloyed support if he responds to our call.

” We have more than 3000 female registered voters that we encouraged to get their permanent voters card and we are sure they can be convinced to also support the movement with their votes,that leaves us as one of the organization with the highest number of female registered voters in the region” the convener of the froup (Northern women for actionable change) said.

Dr Ogbonnaya Onu is the longest serving minister of science and technology and its believed that his competence, Hard work and dedication earned him the tenure.

According to the group (Northern women for actionable change), Nigerians are curious to see the outcome of the forthcoming elections as its the first elections with the highest number of contestants in the history of Nigerian Democracy.
