ASUU PLASU Strike: Union Leader Urge Plateau Govt to Organise Fund Raising

Former President of the Student Union Government(SUG) of Plateau State University, Bokkos Comr. Ezekiel Lautei has call on the state Government to swallow their pride and organize fun raising platform for sons and daughters of the state to donates so to end the lingering Asuu strike.

According to him by so doing the 142Million the Union is demanding will be raise immediately then student can continue academic activities since the State had complain bitterly of lack of fund due to Covid-19 pandemic.

The union leader made his stand known via a post on his Facebook handle, @Ezekiel Luatie.

Comr. Ezekiel also renounce he readiness to part of the donation.

He said;

“If plateau state government doesn’t have the money to pay ASUU PLASU their 70m,They government should swallow their pride and organize fun raising platform, sons and daughters of the state will donates to end the lingering strike.
Am also ready to donate,
Let priotize education.”
