ASUU PLASU STRIKE : students protest in Jos today [PHOTOS]

Students of Plateau state University, Bokkos stage a Peaceful Protest in the early hours of today at Jos the state capital over ASUU PLASU STRIKE.

Recalled , that Nangaihblog Earlier reported in December 20, 2021 that ASUU of PLASU chapter embark on a indefinite and complete strike two months before National strike.

The Protest according to the students is a response to the long overdue ASUU PLASU Chapter STRIKE.

The Peaceful demonstration was led by the SUG President of the varsity Comr. Peter Azi.

The Peaceful demonstration started at the Old Airport to the old government house.

ASUU PLASU STRIKE: Student Resumption Hope

While in the Old government house the Secretary to the State Government SSG Prof. Danladi Atu express deep concern , according to him the government have tried their best however ASUU officials are not ready for agreement some eye witnesses disclosed.

Atu also pleaded with the Aggrieved students for three days so the can call an emergency meeting for the Union officials in abit to find common ground so the students can go back to their classes.

This is coming 48 hours after the students gave notification to the State Government on it proposed protest.

The students who were in their number, wearing Black and black clothes carrying placard with assertion such as” Education our right not Privilege, #End ASUU PLASU STRIKE, #We want to graduate , among others.

The students ended the protest with a plea to the state government and ASUU PLASU chapter to find a solution to the ongoing strike. Failure to do so will leave them with no choice than to embark on a different demonstration.

However, this is coming at the time the ASUU nationwide are also on strike.
