“Our members will stay at home indefinitely though not on strike until backlog of our withheld salaries is paid” – ASUU Unijos branch
The Academic staff Union of Universities (ASUU) University of Jos branch has disclosed that it members will be home thought not on strike, until it’s withheld salaries are paid
This follow a congress held by the University of Jos chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) today as well a Press statement issued to journalists thereafter.

This action follow payment of half salary by the government to it’s members who last month called off their eight months strike.
At the meeting members of the union have resolved to stay at home indefinitely pending the payment of withheld salaries.

The chapter however stated that, the union is not on strike.
