Just In: JUSUN Plateau State Chapter Embarks On lndefinite Strike

The Judiciary Staff Union Of Nigeria Plateau chapter has embarked on indefinite industrial strike to press home their demand on the union’s peculiar allowances.

This is because the committee earlier set up by judiciary management to look at the fact finding of the union headed by Justice C.L Dabup and others stopped abruptly following the information from the government that they can’t afford to implement the union’s demand because they borrowed to pay salaries.

The chairman of the union Comrade Philip Longji made the clarification today 7th March,2022, in an interview with journalists at the state High Court promises in jos,plateau state capital following the paralyzed courts activities occasioned by the union’s strike.

The chairman who lamented the actions of the committee who didn’t deemed it necessary to approach the union for us to go back to the government because our agreement with him is that personnel cost is hundred percent.

Gnews Blog reports that they union also decried Governor Lalong insensitivity to the demand of the union because they suppose to have approach us the union when you are going out of your way as he claimed borrowing to pay salaries.

“We are the one looking for financial autonomy,and you went out of your way in borrowing money to pay salaries”.

According to Gnews Blog the union also accused the management of playing game because “we known that the government is given that what he suppose to take care of the staff” ,he maintained.

The chairman further said for purpose of clarity ,the demand of the union is of three fold,peculiar allowance,security and the other one,out of which the government only manage to pay overhead.
