Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos Bags House of Representatives Press Corp Award
The Member Representing Jos South/Jos East in the National Assembly, Dachung Musa Bagos has been conferred with an Award of Excellence by the House of Representatives Press Corp during the 2nd Annual Dinner and Award of Excellence ceremony of the Corp in the FCT, Abuja.
The event which had in attendance an array of dignitaries include: The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, and Deputy Speaker, Hon. Idris Maje Wase. Others in attendance include: The Executive Governor of Kano State, Alh. Abdullahi Ganduje, Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Douye Diri, and Representatives of Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo- Olu, and also the Representative of the Governor of Borno state, Babagana Zulum, Ministers, Captains of industries as well as Civil Society Organizations.
The occasion was to honor 67 members of the House of Representatives; one of which was Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos.
The award is to recognize the awardees for their commitment to duty and dedication to their constituents and Nigerian people at large.
The Theme for the 2nd Annual Dinner and award of Excellence is: “Recognizing Good Governance and Legislative Excellence in the face of Adversity”. This year’s theme was courteously arrived at to underscore the contribution of these Legislators to the development of a new Nigeria.
Congratulations to Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos and all other awardees and hoping that this spurs all the recipients to better improve the quality of representation within their constituencies and focus on making laws that will further secure the lives and prosperities of citizens in Nigeria.
