Plateau Gov Simon Lalong to take COVID-19 vaccine on Monday

Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong, his Deputy, Prof. Sonni Tyoden, some leaders of religious and traditional Institutions as well as frontline health workers are set to receive the first dose of AstraZeneca vaccines against COVID-19 on Monday 15th March 2021.

In a statement signed by Dr. simon Macham ,his director of press and Public affairs reads that The vaccination of the Governor will kick start the adminstration of the vaccines in Plateau State which recently took possession of 105, 600 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccines.

The event is scheduled for 10am at the clinic of the new Government House Little Rayfield Jos.

The statement further reads that due to COVID-19 protocols, attendance at the flag off is strictly by invitation.
