Breaking: Plateau Deputy Majority Leader Resigns
The member representing Pankshin North in the Plateau State House of Assembly, Philip Peter Dasun who doubles has the deputy majority leader, has resigned as the Deputy Majority leader of the house.
He announced his resignation during plenary on Tuesday.
Philip Dasun, before his resignation, was the Chairman of the House commitee on Information.
He said his resignation had nothing to do with the alleged illegal impeachment of the Speaker, Ayuba Nuhu Abok.
Rather he said its a personal decision to become a floor member.
Dasun disclosed to journalists shortly after the plenary that his resignation is based on personal decision has he have served the house for quite some years, according to him he wants to be a member so he can go back and fix his constituency responsibilities.
