PLASU SUG Sets To Conduct it’s 8th election [ read for complete guidelines]

The Student Union Government( SUG) Plateau State University, Bokkos is set to holds it 8th election.

The Caretaker committee for the election disclose this in a statement released on Tuesday July 27, 2021.

The election is scheduled to starts with screening of aspirants and the election subsequently.

Below is the Election scheduled:

1. Screening Of Candidates
   Day: Monday 2nd August, 2021.
   Time: 10:00am
   Venue: Dean Students’ Affairs Office.
2. Programme: Presidential Debate
   Day: Tuesday 3rd August, 2021.
   Time: 3:30pm
   Venue: University Auditorium
3. Programme: Manifesto
   Day: Wednesday 4th August, 2021
   Time: 3:30pm
   Venue: Aluta Ground
4. Programme: Executive Election
   Day: Thursday 5th August, 2021
   Time: 8:00am – 4:00pm
   Venue: Management/Social Science Building
5. Programme: Parliamentary, Hostel Executives Elections
   Day: Friday 6th August, 2021
   Time: 8:00am – 4:00pm
   Venue: Students Centre.

While unevailing the guidelines and criteria for the election, the caretaker committee call on all students to come out in their mass as the election will be free and fair.

The above named union wishes to bring to the notice of its members that the 2019/2020 Session SUG elections guidelines and time table is released as follows:

1. Programme: Sales Of Nomination Forms
Days: 27th July, 2021 – 5th August
Time: 10days
Venue: Contact ELCOM (Check Numbers on the Guideline)

2. Programme: Screening Of Candidates

Members are therefore urge to comply with all the guidelines and schedules of the election.

All intending aspirants should submit their names to the ELCOM Chairman (DEAN Students affairs) on or before Friday 30th July, 2021

By this notice, all caretaker members committee of the union and intending aspirants are expected to meet with the Deputy Dean, Students Affairs, PLASUB tomorrow Wed. 18th July, 2021 by 10:00am unfailingly.
