2021 International Women’s Day: Aisha Buhari Calls For Solution to Abduction, Insecurity in the country
Nigeria’s First Lady, Dr. Mrs Aisha Buhari, has call on all stakeholders to join forces to bring an end to the menace of abduction, an to assure the World that the girl child will be safe anywhere she find her self in the country
The First lady made this call via a message released to mark the 2021 edition of International Women’s Day on Monday March 8.
Aisha Buhari expressed her unhappiness over the rate of abduction of women and girls by Bandits in the country.
She expressed her best wishes to women all over the world for their resilience, hard work, and commitment to the progress of humanity.
Mrs Buhari has been silent since September 2020 after her daughter, Hanan’s wedding.
Also in her goodwill message, Mrs. Buhari while condemning the abduction of schoolgirls in some parts of the country, says it might have an adverse effect on the girl child’s education as well as early marriage.
