2023 General elections is fast approaching with few months, it’s time for electorates to decide who govern them for the next four years, it will be fine to have knowledge of all the candidates before choosing who to vote, what do you know about Gontori?? Read this piece to the end as I uncover to know things you might have not know about this visionary leader GONTORI.
I described him as an exceptional political guru on the Plateau, a philanthropy, an optimist, the people’s general, captain of the *RESTORATION* team. The CEO Gontori Foundation.
The man which name has been written in bold, that no one can erase.
A model which always groom future politicians who have the basic knowledge on the imperatives of building a strong united people.
As an exceptional leader, he is friendly and very benevolent in juxtaposing bevy.
The man with a vision of *Restoration*. Not even on seat, he have touched lives of people in one way or the other.
His score cards (interventions) has speaks volume of him, which privately consolidate by addressing the must fundamental incentives and structures that will drastically and ultimately eradicate poverty and squalor.
The man that makes sure natural and humans resources are invest in terms of basics and critical infrastructure are well utilize judiciously for positive purpose and good of people, which interventions at a glance includes:
1. The reconstruction/refurbishment of a bridge linking Gindiri and TZ along CHANSO road,Gindiri,Mangu LGA.
2. Payment of JAMB fee/ purchase of JAMB forms for over 200 students across the 17 LGAs of plateau state.
3. Donation of over 2000 blocks and cement for the fencing of the Ngas secretariat in pankshin.
4. Donation of cash,blocks and cement for various community developments across plateau state like: Amper,Gyingkar,Kurrum-Garram,etc .
5. Payment of WASSCE fees to best students in Pwel(Dawaki),Kanke LGA.
6. Various interventions in youth and sports development in Jos North(T/wada),Gindiri(Mangu),Daffo(Bokkos),under 13 football completion in Kanke,and etc.
7. Interventions to churches across plateau state in cash and building materials . Churches too numerous to mention.
8. Donation of cash and building materials to mosques across plateau state,too numerous to mention.
9. Donation of relief materials to the victims of various attacks on the plateau . Eg:KWATAS(Bokkos LGA).
10. Provision of several bags of rice to Christians and Muslims during Christmas,Easter and sallah celebrations respectively.
11. Provision of palliatives to the needy all over plateau state during the Corona virus pandemic and lockdowns.
12. Gontori has personally attended various community development programs across plateau,donating over #10m from 2019 till date.
13. Sponsorship of plateau state students in various tertiary institutions of learning.
14. Provision of job opportunities to so many youth across plateau state.
15. The establishment of:MANJI GONTORI FOUNDATION(Women and Youth Empowerment and Training centre,pankshin). This is to help take our youth off the street,provides women with capital to start up small scale businesses etc.
16. Gontori is currently sponsoring over 50 students in tertiary institutions.
17. Gontori has through his chain of business created job opportunities for youth at home and outside.
