PLHA Speaker holds Special Town Hall meeting with youth groups in the state
The speaker of the plateau state House of assembly Rt. Hon Nuhu Ayuba Abok today in Jos the capital of plateau state holds a special town hall meeting with different youth groups in the state.
The meeting under the aegis of coalition of ethnic nationalities alongside other interest youth groups.
While at the meeting the speaker encouraged the youths to open up and discuss
Different speakers took turn to appreciate the speaker for this opportunity and raised issues bothering on security, ASUU strike in PLASU, the public education sector in the state and employment of youths in the state.
The speaker announced that he is in consultation with the Governor, RT. Hon Simon Bako Lalong to secure employment for the youth … A process that started some years ago might soon come to an end.
Also in attendance, is the majority leader Hon. Nanlong who advocated for the independence of the legislative arm as a Panacea to true representation.
While commenting on the issues related to open grazing in the state, the legislators advocated that a state police will be a good starting point across the North central States.
