PLASU Students Protest over high level of Insecurity on the Campus
They students of Plateau state university Bokkos wake up today Tuesday, April 13,2021 morning with a peaceful protest.
The Protest according to The students was as a result of the high level of Insecurity witnesed on the campus.
Unknown gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen invaded the university Environment abducting 3 Female students and one male student injured.
Chief security of the varsity while addressing the aggrieved Students disclose that the Abducted female students have regain their freedom and were not rape or injured and the Injured one in good condition.
However, the Students of the varsity said the aim of the protest is to demonstrate their grievance over the high level of Insecurity going on in the campus.
The students also call on instution management and State government to increase the security architecture on the Campus so to Promote peaceful and conducive environment for learning and research.
Vice Chancellor Of the Institution Prof. Yohanna Daniel Izam while addressing the students urge them to remain calm as they are ontop of the matter, he also promise as a mater of urgency to increase the security architecture on the campus in the next 48 hours.
This is not the first time students of the varsity are Protesting over insecurity especially rape cases.
