Just In: Plateau PDP Caucus Demand Refund of N146 Million to it Aspirants, threatened Legal Actions
The Sen. JT Useni Caucus of Plateau People Democratic Party (PDP) have demand a refund of N146 million to it’s aspirants for 2020 botched Congress as well 2023 general elections to 5 aspirants.
Spokesman of the Caucus Hon. Emmanuel Macham JP, made this known in a statement in the early hours of Sunday 26 November, 2023.
According to Macham their move is base on willful acts of the party for refusing to form legal structure in the state and for misleading aspirants during the 2022 party primaries.
The Caucus also threatened legal redress if their demand is not met in 14 days.

“PDP HEADQUARTERS TO REFUND N146m TO ASPIRANTS IN PLATEAU STATE
26th, Nov 2023.
PDP National headquarters will refund N146M to aspirants belonging to our caucus for misleading us at various stages and refusal to take necessary step to legalized the party.
This were funds spent to purchase forms for various offices as follows:-
(1) 2020 botched Congresses N28m
(2) General elections of 2023(5) aspirants N118m
Our demand for the refund is based on the willful acts of the Party in refusing to form legal structure and misleading aspirants about the illegitimate status of the Party structure in Plateau State as at 2022 party primaries.
Take notice that this letter is still within the internal mechanism aimed at peaceful resolutions.
Failure to act on our demands within 14 days from date of delivery will leave us with no option than to seek legal redress.
We therefore urge PDP to expedite actions towards resolving the above subject matter.
