According to lightbearernews Rev. Dr. Mohzo described as unfortunate how some greedy Christians have forged an unhealthy alliance with the common enemy of Plateau and Nigeria in order to wreak havoc to the land because of money. He warned against concealing those found culpable of this act as this will only breed further insecurity in the land.

“Unless we see ourselves as one and work together, we cannot achieve our great destiny as people of Plateau state. Whenever there is an incident in any part of the state, we should learn to understand that it affects the whole of us in the state instead of folding our arms and saying it only affects the Beroms, Irigwe, Mwaghavul or any other tribe on the Plateau”, Rev. Dr. Mohzo said.

He called on traditional leaders, Politicians and Pastors to work together in unity in order to save the heritage given to us by God because if the land is taken, the people do not have any other place to run to thereby becoming slaves and aliens in their fatherland.

It could be recalled that Plateau has been witnessing a spike in the activities of armed kidnappers who kidnapped citizens for ransom. The most recent is the Kidnap of the wife and daughter of the Plateau State Commissioner of Environment, Usman Bamaiyi in Gindiri, Mangu LGA of the state.
