HAPFA PARTNERS WITH PEPSA FOR ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP ON THE PLATEAU

Habitable Planet For All (HAPFA), an organization dedicated to biodiversity conservation, environmental protection, and climate education in Jos, Plateau State, recently visited the office of the Director General of the Plateau Environmental Protection and Sanitation Agency (PEPSA) to discuss potential partnership and collaboration on environmental sustainability programs.
The delegation was warmly received by the DG PEPSA, Hon. Samuel Dapiya, who expressed his delight at the proactive and visionary efforts of the youth involved in environmental stewardship. “It is heartening to see young, dedicated individuals contributing significantly to the well-being of our people through programs that have a direct impact on the health and safety of the Plateau community,” Hon. Dapiya stated.
The HAPFA team, led by the Director of Partnership and Collaboration, Mr. Alexis Dadi Namua, outlined their visit’s purpose, emphasizing the need to foster a collaborative relationship with PEPSA. Mr. Namua highlighted HAPFA’s ongoing and upcoming initiatives, including biodiversity conservation projects, environmental protection campaigns, and comprehensive climate education and awareness programs.
“We are here not only to identify with your esteemed agency but also to inform you of our initiatives and seek a partnership that will help us achieve our shared vision and objectives. We believe that with PEPSA’s support, we can significantly enhance the impact of our environmental sustainability efforts on the Plateau,” Mr. Namua explained.
Hon. Dapiya commended HAPFA for their dedication and assured them of PEPSA’s support and cooperation in their noble endeavors. “Our agency is committed to working with like-minded organizations such as HAPFA to achieve a greener and healthier Plateau State. Together, we can make a substantial difference,” he affirmed.
The meeting concluded with a mutual agreement to formalize the partnership and commence collaborative activities aimed at enhancing environmental stewardship and sustainability in Plateau State.
