Collective Grassroot Mobilizers group again continues visitation, identified with the students of PEIFIN MODEL SECONDARY SCHOOL TUNKUS
Collective Grassroot Mobilizers group C.G.M. as again continue with it numerous achievements and show of love, concerned and passion for her deared community today went on another phase of its identification to PEIFIN MODEL SECONDARY SCHOOL TUNKUS.
In a remark, the representative of the principal of the school showcased his appreciation to C.G.M for identifying with their students and assured members of the group for the total giving of their time and attention to listen to what ever will be presented to them, he added that he has been hearing about the ongoing achievement of this group, but today he witnessed and can testify the good gesture of the Noble group.
He further prayed for God’s protections and guidance and wished Collective Grassroot Mobilizers team a safe trip as they’ll be retiring to their various destinations.
At the course of the event, it’s stressed that C.G.M is a group of non partisan, young, focused and concerned citizens who see a need for mobilising and sensitizing the grassroots on certain things such as lack of participating in politics which has a way of contributing to the production of bad leaders. And also creation of awareness on the effects and dangers of social vices such as drugs abuse and sexual immoralities among others.
The group presented a paper with the topic POLITICAL APATHY. Thereafter questions were thrown to students to test their level of assimilation.
As a source of motivation C.G.M present gifts of exercise books produced and sponsored by it’s members to encourage students.
Collective Grassroot Mobilizers group in its little capacity has taken a great step of changing the narrative of the LGA. As time goes, we shall be organizing programs that will sensitize our people and it’s our collective responsibilities as citizens of this LGA.
