Breaking: University of Jos Students Protest, Shuts Down School Gate
Reports reaching our newsdesk is that Student residents at the Village Hostel of the University of Jos have embarked on Protest to show their disappointment over the lack of water and light in the Hostel.
The Protesting students went on to further shut down the main entrance of the University as at the time of filing this report.
According to findings, the Students embarked on the protest because the school management has failed to respond to their continuous pleas to provide water and light since the school resumed.
One of the protesting students who spoke to our correspondent but begged anonymity said “Why will we come to school and our basics needs won’t be met? The Village Hostel needs Water and light, we’re suffering.” “We won’t allow the school to open the gates until our demands,” He said.
